Mecole Hardman (pelvis) out for Chiefs in Divisional Round
Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman (pelvis) has been ruled out for the Divisional Round against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Saturday.
Hardman didn't practice all week and he will remain out for another game. Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Kadarius Toney, Skyy Moore, and Justin Watson will continue to compete for pass-catching opportunities behind JuJu Smith-Schuster. Jerick McKinnon should also remain plenty involved in the passing game.
numberFire's models project JuJu to lead the Chiefs receivers with 6.1 targets in the Divisional round, followed by Toney (4.9) and MVS (4.2). The Jaguars have the No. 26 pass defense and No. 8 run defense in our adjusted team rankings, providing a pass-funnel for Mahomes and company to exploit.
