Nick Marshall

Jaguars looking for progress from Nick Marshall

Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Gus Bradley said he's excited about and "looking for big strides" from second-year cornerback Nick Marshall.

What It Means:

Marshall, of course, was Auburn's quarterback before switching to corner in the pros. He appeared in 13 games as an undrafted rookie, playing 141 of his 144 defensive snaps in December. Bradley may be talking up Marshall, but he's deep down the depth chart after the additions of Prince Amukamara and Jalen Ramsey.

The Jaguars could use all the help they can get in the secondary. Their pass defense ranked third worst last season, according to numberFire's metrics.
