Manny Lawson expects Bills' defense to dictate games in 2016
Buffalo Bills outside linebacker Manny Lawson expects the defense "to dictate what an offense does" this season.
"Instead of trying to mold our defense around the opposing offense we’re going to play our style of defense," Lawson said. "We’re going to make the opponent game plan to stop our attack." These words sound like they came straight out of head coach Rex Ryan's mouth. After some locker-room turmoil last season, it sounds like the Bills have bought in on Rex's vision this year. It remains to be seen if the new style will yield better results on the field.
Buffalo ranked 16th in Adjusted Defensive Net Expected Points per play last season.
