Geremy Davis

Geremy Davis spent a lot of time with Giants' first-team

New York Giants wide receiver Geremy Davis "saw a lot of time with [quarterback] Eli Manning" and the first-team offense during OTA's and minicamp.

What It Means:

Davis got "a lot" of reps with Eli, and he apparently made an impression to boot. "He knows the offense very well. He studies hard. He’s really in tune with what his assignments are. He’s got great size. He’s one of our bigger receivers. You can move him around and put him in different spots," Manning said. "Hopefully he can step up and get on a roll and make some plays for us come game time." If Victor Cruz (knee, calf) is able to come back healthy, Davis will be nothing more than a depth contributor, but that is a big if. It is not crazy to think Davis sees important targets this season.

Davis saw just three targets in 2015, catching two for a total of 0.62 Reception Net Expected Points.
