Aaron Jones (hamstring) returns to Packers practice Thursday
Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones (hamstring) returned to practice on Thursday.
Jones practiced for the first time since injuring his hamstring in the Packers' opener. He was reportedly moving well and seems to be trending toward playing in Week 3 against the New Orleans Saints. AJ Dillon will return to a backup role if Jones is cleared for action.
Jones still put up 25.7 FanDuel points in Week 1 with the injury, via 41 rushing yards, 86 receiving yards, 2 catches, and 2 touchdowns. The Saints have the No. 22 adjusted rushing defense and No. 3 passing defense in the NFL through two weeks, according to numberFire's metrics, so the Packers may want to focus on establishing the run.
