Jaguars' Dan Skuta sheds 15 pounds to gain speed on edge
Jacksonville Jaguars outside linebacker Dan Skuta shed 15 pounds this offseason.
What It Means:
Skuta finds himself in the 248-250 range after playing at 265 last season. "We’re playing a little more man coverage and knowing that, I lost 15 pounds," said Skuta. "I just want to be able to run." He's expected to split time at strong-side linebacker and weak-side defensive end.
The Jaguars could use all the help they can get on their defense. Their pass defense ranked third worst last season, according to numberFire's metrics.
