Jasper Brinkley expected to start for Giants
The New York Giants middle linebacker Jasper Brinkley is the favorite to start, the Newark Star-Ledger believes.
The Giants gave Keenan Robinson a $2.6 million deal this offseason, but Brinkley’s scheme experience gives him the early edge. The middle of the Giants’ defense projects as a 2016 liability.
The Giants ranked 24th in Adjusted Defensive Net Expected Points per play in 2015. Our algorithms project Robinson as the starter, with 87.31 tackles and 1.18 sacks.
