Patriots' Alan Branch (hip) has been cleared for practice
New England Patriots defensive tackle Alan Branch (hip) has been cleared to practice.
What It Means:
Branch opened training camp on active/NFI after failing his conditioning test. His hip injury was never a concern. Branch and Terrance Knighton are competing for one starting spot.
Our algorithms project Branch for 40.14 tackles and 1.31 sacks this season. We expect him to win the job.
