Browns' K'Waun Williams has bone chips in ankle
Cleveland Browns cornerback K'Waun Williams needs surgery to remove bone chips from his ankle.
Cleveland suspended Williams two weeks after he scratched himself from Saturday's preseason game, but a second opinion revealed his ankle injury is an actually serious concern. It's not clear how this impacts his status with the Browns or how much time he'll miss, but Jamar Taylor should open the season in the slot.
The 2015 Browns ranked 21st in the league in Adjusted Defensive Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) and 32nd in Adjusted Defensive Rushing NEP as a unit.
