Sean Weatherspoon suffers ruptured Achilles' in Falcons' Week 4
Atlanta Falcons linebacker Sean Weatherspoon suffered a ruptured right Achilles' Week 4 against the Carolina Panthers.
What It Means:
A torn Achilles' also ended Weatherspoon's 2014 season, and he struggled to come back from the injury last year in Arizona. Weatherspoon has played in just 25 games since 2012. Both De'Vondre Campbell and Paul Worrilow are expected to miss a few more games at least, meaning the Falcons are very short-handed at linebacker right now.
Prior to Week 4, the Falcons ranked 30th in schedule-adjusted Defensive Net Expected Points per play.
