Buccaneers expect to be without Gerald McCoy (calf), Noah Spence (shoulder)
Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive tackle Gerald McCoy (calf) and defensive end Noah Spence (shoulder) are both unlikely to be available in Week 5 against the Carolina Panthers, according to the expectations of the Tampa Bay Times.
McCoy was seen in a walking boot after straining his left calf during Sunday's loss to the Denver Broncos, but that prognosis might be a bit optimistic. Already without defensive end Robert Ayers (ankle) for the past two games (both losses), the Buccaneers don't have the depth to fill these voids in a front seven that tends to be the team's strength.
Tampa Bay's defense conceded a combined 9.97 Net Expected Points to Trevor Siemian and Paxton Lynch during a 27-7 loss on Sunday.
