Steelers' Ryan Shazier (knee) ruled out against Jets
Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier (knee) has been ruled out for Week 5 versus the New York Jets.
Shazier is one of the premier coverage linebackers in football, so his absence provides an upgrade for Bilal Powell as the primary pass-catcher out of the Jets' backfield. Vince Williams draws another start.
Shazier was projected to record 6.60 tackles, 0.12 sacks, 0.34 pass deflections and 0.12 interceptions in Week 5. Williams will probably fall a little short of those numbers.
