It was reported on Friday that he and the 49ers are restructuring a deal to remove those assurances, making it much easier on San Francisco's wallet to put Kaepernick under center. Multiple reports have suggested that both Blaine Gabbert and Christian Ponder have outperformed Kaepernick at practice, so he's not in the streaming conversation yet, especially on the road against a suddenly-rejuvenated Buffalo Bills defense. On the flip side, Buffalo's fantasy D/ST will make for a nice Week 6 streaming option, but that should be the case regardless of who is under center for the 49ers.
