Koa Misi (neck) placed on Dolphins' injured reserve
The Miami Dolphins placed strong-side linebacker Koa Misi on injured reserve with a neck injury.
According to the Miami Herald's Armando Salguero, Misi's injury may be career-threatening. He had been sidelined since Week 3. It's a tough blow to an already-weak defense. Neville Hewitt has started for Misi the past two games.
Hewitt had two solo tackles and one assist in Week 5. The Dolphins' defense currently sits at 19th in Defensive Net Expected Points.
