Cardinals' Tyrann Mathieu (shoulder) sidelined for three to six weeks
Arizona Cardinals defensive back Tyrann Mathieu (shoulder subluxation) will be sidelined three to six weeks.
Mathieu has been off his game this season as he returns from a torn ACL, but it's still a massive loss for the Cards' already banged up secondary. The Cardinals' roster is getting squeezed by injuries, though Mathieu's first missed week will come during the bye. With Mathieu sidelined, safety Tyvon Branch (groin) will probably end up the Cardinals' "return" player from injured reserve.
The Cardinals' secondary allowed the Carolina Panthers 6.06 Net Expected Points on 27 passing plays in Week 8, per numberFire Live.
