San Francisco depleted on defense versus Drew Brees, Saints
San Francisco 49ers outside linebacker Aaron Lynch (ankle) and cornerback Rashard Robinson (knee) have been ruled out for Week 9 against the New Orleans Saints.
That means Drew Brees will face a 49ers' defense missing their top pass rusher and starting cornerback. Lynch has been diagnosed with a high ankle sprain, Robinson is hobbled by a sprained MCL. Their status will be in question heading into Week 10.
Brees is numberFire's third-ranked quarterback on FanDuel for Week 9, and we project him to throw for 319 passing yards with 2.25 touchdowns and 0.80 interceptions against the Saints.
