49ers' Jimmie Ward ruled out of game with shoulder injury
San Francisco 49ers cornerback Jimmie Ward left Sunday's Week 15 game against the Atlanta Falcons with a shoulder injury.
What It Means:
He logged two tackles before exiting early in the second quarter. Rashard Robinson will finish out the game at left corner for San Francisco. It's been a brutal injury day for the Niners. Besides Ward, they've also lost tight end Blake Bell (shoulder) and lineman Marcus Martin (ankle).
The 49ers' already-inept secondary allowed 23.27 to the Falcons' passing game on 23 attempts in Week 15, per numberFire Live.
