Travaris Cadet returns to the Saints
The New Orleans Saints re-signed running back Travaris Cadet.
What It Means:
Cadet had interest from the Buffalo Bills and New York Jets, but will stay in New Orleans after setting a career high in catches last season. His return is bad news for Tim Hightower's chances of re-signing. Cadet should open 2017 as the Saints' primary passing-down back.
Cadet was targeted 54 times this year in the passing game, earning 21.45 Reception Net Expected Points. He rushed the ball just four times.
