Cardinals lose defensive tackle Corey Peters for season
Arizona Cardinals defensive tackle Corey Peters is out for the season with a torn achilles.
Peters was slotted atop the depth chart at nose tackle in the Cardinals 3-4 defense prior to the injury. Peters was brought in this offseason to replace former Cardinals Pro-Bowler Darnell Dockett.
The Cardinals ranked 11th in our schedule-adjusted Defensive Rushing Net Expected Points metric last season. Our algorithms had projected Peters to finish the season with 38 tackles and 3.5 sacks prior to the injury.
