Justin Forsett announces retirement from NFL
Free agent running back Justin Forsett is retiring from the NFL after nine seasons.
A seventh-round pick by the Seattle Seahawks back in 2008, Forsett is one of the more unlikely success stories in the NFL over the past decade. He spent time with seven different teams during his nine-year tenure, but never really made a name for himself until landing with the Baltimore Ravens and head coach Gary Kubiak in 2014. Forsett finishes his career with 3,890 rushing yards (4.7 yards per carry) and 19 touchdowns.
Among the 44 running backs with between 30 and 100 carries last season, Forsett's -0.23 Rushing Net Expected Points per attempt was fourth-lowest.
