Karlos Dansby

Haason Reddick exclusively working inside for Cardinals

Arizona Cardinals linebacker Haason Reddick lined up strictly at inside linebacker during rookie minicamp.

What It Means:

Reddick will likely see time on the edge in certain sub-packages, but the Cardinals want him to be their next interior blitzer, a la Daryl Washington. He'll compete with Karlos Dansby and Deone Bucannon for playing time initially. Bucannon is coming off a career-worst year, while Dansby turns 36 later this season. Reddick has a chance to lead Arizona's inside linebackers in snaps as a rookie.

The Cardinals' secondary ranked ninth-best in Adjusted Defensive Passing Net Expected Points per play in 2016. Reddick showed off his versatility racking up 65 tackles (43 solo), 9.5 sacks, 22.5 tackles for a loss, 1 interception and 3 pass breakups in his senior year.
