Rams' Dominique Easley suffers torn ACL
Los Angeles Rams defensive lineman Dominique Easley has been diagnosed with a torn ACL and will miss the 2017 season.
Easley tore both of his ACLs in college, so this third tear certainly doesn't bode well for his longevity. It's a significant loss for the Rams defense, as the former first-rounder graded out as the team's second-best lineman last season behind Aaron Donald, according to Pro Football Focus. He turned 25 in February.
Easley yielded 35 tackles, 3.5 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles in 2016 for a Rams team that finished 18th in opponent-adjusted Defensive Passing Net Expected Points per play in 2016.
