Cody Latimer could be losing grip on Broncos third receiver job
Denver Broncos receiver Cody Latimer may be losing his grip on the third receiver job, suggests the Denver Post.
Latimer impressed in Denver's exhibition opener, but he was a major disappointment in the final three games, getting outplayed by Andre Caldwell and Jordan Norwood. The Post's Troy Renck suggests Caldwell and Norwood could "receive opportunities before (Latimer)" behind Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders.
Last year, Peyton Manning added 167.47 points above expectation-level with his passing, according to our Passing Net Expected Points metric. That ranked him second in the league. He can still get it done, and if Latimer does get things figured out, he might be a fantasy asset in deeper leagues. We have him slated for 211 yards and one touchdown.
