Clive Walford

Clive Walford showed great improvement for Raiders this summer

Oakland Raiders tight end Clive Walford "really improved over last year's camp," according to Adam Caplan of Sirius XM NFL Radio.

What It Means:

Caplan added that Walford also has the "best hands" of all three tight ends on Oakland's roster (Jared Cook, Lee Smith). Earlier this offseason, general manager Reggie McKenzie said Walford "wasn't [the] same player last year" after he suffered an ATV accident in the summer heading into the 2016 season. This will be his third NFL season after the Raiders selected him in the third round of the 2015 draft.

numberFire's models project Walford to catch 1.5 passes for 16.1 yards and 0.19 touchdowns in Week 1 against the Tennessee Titans. He's pegged for 3.5 FanDuel points at a cost of $4,700.
