David Njoku third on Browns' unofficial depth chart for Week 1
Cleveland Browns rookie tight end David Njoku is third on the team's unofficial depth chart for Week 1 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The 29th overall pick from this year's draft is listed behind Randall Telfer and Seth DeValve on the current depth chart. It's common knowledge that tight ends tend to struggle their rookie season, but it would be surprising if Njoku doesn't wind up with at least a similar snap count as the other two. That being said, he's not a recommended play in his first NFL game.
numberFire's models project Njoku to catch 2.4 passes for 26.8 yards and 0.10 touchdowns in Week 1 versus the Steelers. He's our TE25 for the week and is expected to score 4.5 FanDuel points at a price tag of $4,500.
