Myles Garrett suffers high-ankle sprain at Browns' practice
Cleveland Browns first-round rookie defensive end Myles Garrett has been diagnosed with a high-ankle sprain suffered at Wednesday's practice.
The Browns said they would update Garrett's status in a couple weeks, but this sort of injury can take over a month to recover from. With the number-one overall pick on the shelf, Nate Orchard will take over at right end as the Cleveland prepares for the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 1.
Garrett racked up 31 sacks in 34 career college games at Texas A&M while the Browns ranked 31st in the NFL with just 26 sacks in 2016.
