Jaelen Strong claimed off of waivers by Jacksonville
The Jacksonville Jaguars claimed former Houston Texans wide receiver Jaelen Strong off waivers on Tuesday, per Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Strong was suspended for the first game of the season but was released by the Texans after seeing zero targets in last Thursday's game versus the Cincinnati Bengals. The 23-year-old wideout joins a depleted Jaguars receiving corp providing the team with some much-needed depth behind Allen Hurns and Marqise Lee.
Our models project Strong for just 5.1 catches, 49.9 yards, and 0.3 touchdowns, the rest of the season.
