Colts' rookie Malik Hooker out for year with torn ACL
Indianapolis Colts first-round rookie safety Malik Hooker is done for the season with a torn ACL and MCL suffered Week 7 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Hooker had to be carted off the field in what is a tough blow to a Colts' secondary that has not played well this season. Hooker had been one of the few bright spots for Indianapolis' defense this season, and even though he looks like he'll be back in time to start training camp in 2018, Darius Butler and T.J. Green will have to fill the void for the rest of this season.
Hooker will finish his rookie season with 3 interceptions and 22 total tackles through seven games.
