Lions sign Matt Prater to three-year extension
The Detroit Lions have signed kicker Matt Prater to a three-year extension worth $11.4 million through 2020.
According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Prater will receive a $3.6 million signing bonus and could earn up to $12.15 million over the course of the deal. Prater is 33 years old and has a conversion rate of 83.1% for his 11-year career.
On the season, Prater is 15-for-15 on extra-points and 10-for-12 on field goals. Prater's only misses have come from beyond 50, where he is 4-of-6 on the season with a make from 58 yards. Averaging 9.2 FanDuel points per game, Prater is our 18th-ranked kicker in fantasy for the rest of the season.
