Rashaan Melvin (hand) out indefinitely for Colts
Indianapolis Colts defensive back Rashaan Melvin is out indefinitely after injuring his hand against the Tennessee Titans in Week 12, head coach Chuck Pagano said Monday.
Per Pagano, it's a significant injury that will cause Melvin to "miss some time." The 2013 undrafted free agent emerged as the Colts' top corner this season, a designation previously held by Vontae Davis (groin). Melvin, 28, will be a free agent this offseason.
Melvin has 36 tackles, 13 pass deflections, and 3 interceptions in 10 games this season.
