Former Steeler James Harrison is visiting the Patriots on Tuesday
Former Pittsburgh Steeler and current free agent James Harrison is visiting the Patriots on Tuesday.
Harrison cleared waivers Monday making him a free agent. Pittsburgh head coach Mike Tomlin called releasing the veteran linebacker a "business decision." Harrison, 39, has 80 1/2 sacks in a Pittsburgh uniform, including at least five sacks in each of the past three regular seasons despite playing a part-time role.
The Patriots can clinch home-field advantage with a win over the New York Jets or a Steelers loss to Cleveland in Week 17.
