Bills sign Vontae Davis to one-year, $5 million deal
Per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Buffalo Bills and cornerback Vontae Davis have agreed to a one-year deal worth $5 million.
It took some time but the free agent finally settled on Buffalo. His deal includes $3.5 million in guarantees and could earn him as much as $8 million with incentives. The Bills will hold out hope that his groin issues are behind him. Davis is expected to start obvious Tre'Davious White.
This past season, Davis recorded 16 tackles and 2 passes defensed in 5 games. He rated out as Pro Football Focus' 103rd-ranked corner.
