DeMarco Murray announces retirement Friday
DeMarco Murray announced his retirement from the NFL on Friday.
Murray, a third-round pick of the Dallas Cowboys in 2011, earned three Pro Bowl bids during his seven-year career, which was highlighted by an All-Pro first-team selection in 2014. He led the league in rushing that season with 1,845 yards and tied Marshawn Lynch for first with 13 touchdowns.
Murray rushed 1,604 times for 7,174 yards and 49 touchdowns over 99 career games for the Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles, and Tennessee Titans.
