Khalil Mack reportedly 'likely' to miss Raiders' games
Oakland Raiders holdout edge player Khalil Mack is "likely" to miss regular-season games, reports Yahoo Sports' Charles Robinson.
Per Robinson, "there have been no meaningful talks between the two sides in months" and "the situation has devolved to a deadlocked 'pay him or trade him' conversation." The 27-year-old two-time All-Pro and 2016 Defensive Player of the Year is currently due $13.86 million in the final year of his rookie deal.
Operating under the assumption that Mack plays 16 games, numberFire's models currently project Mack to record 81.7 tackles, 11.9 sacks, 2.9 forced fumbles, 1.4 recovered fumbles, and 0.32 touchdowns in 2018.
