Buccaneers release Charles Sims (knee) with injury settlement
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers released running back Charles Sims (knee) with an injury settlement.
What It Means:
Sims suffered a knee injury in the Bucs' second preseason game, but it wasn't season-ending. He will be eligible to return to the Buccaneers in Week 7 but can sign with any other team before then.
Sims totaled 344 yards and 1 touchdown on 56 touches (35 receptions) last season.
