Raiders trade for Bills' quarterback A.J. McCarron

The Oakland Raiders have traded for Buffalo Bills quarterback A.J. McCarron on Saturday, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

What It Means:

Another curious move by Jon Gruden as he lands a marginal quarterback who represents only a minor upgrade to current Derek Carr backup Connor Cook. No word on what Buffalo will be getting, but they appear set with Josh Allen and Nathan Peterman as their quarterbacks this year. McCarron is now barely rosterable even in dynasty leagues.

McCarron was projected for 249.8 passing yards, 1.3 touchdowns and 1.3 interceptions on 38.8 pass attempts in 2018.
