New York Giants defensive lineman Olivier Vernon is not practicing Wednesday due to a high-ankle sprain.
What It Means:
This is typically a multi-week injury, and Vernon suffered it a week and a half ago, so consider him questionable at best to play Week 1 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
If he plays all 16 games, numberFire's models project Vernon for 47.0 tackles, 9.3 sacks, and 2.1 forced fumbles this season.
