It’s hard to believe that we already have a full week of NHL hockey under our belts. There have been a few surprises along the way with San Jose Sharks winless in four games, Andrei Vasilevskiy and the Tampa Bay Lightning struggling and the Carolina Hurricanes and Buffalo Sabres sitting atop the NHL standings. With other things going more or less as expected, Connor McDavid is tied for the league lead in points, Ottawa Senators have a bumpy road ahead and there are some damn good hockey teams in the Central Division. With so many things left to play out over the course of the season, one thing is for sure - there’s no turning back now!
