Penguins' Kris Letang is day-to-day with a hand injury
Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Kris Letang is dealing with a hand injury.
Letang didn't practice on Friday as a result, and he is being called day-to-day. He has six goals and 30 points in 36 games this season. If he can't play on Saturday, then Derrick Pouliot might make his season debut.
Our models project Letang to net five more goals and dish out 18 more assists over the rest of the season, although those numbers will take a hit if he misses significant time. Typically a driver of possession, his Corsi For Percentage (52.6) and Relative Corsi For Percentage at Even Strength (4.0) are both in line with his career averages.
