Ben Scrivens

Ben Scrivens getting the green light for Canadiens

Montreal Canadiens goalie Ben Scrivens will be starting against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Tuesday night.

What It Means:

He had four straight losses to begin his tour of duty with Montreal, but he has won his last two, playing well against the Edmonton Oilers and Carolina Hurricanes. The Lightning will be a much tougher task, especially after losing 5-1 to the Ottawa Senators on Monday.

We recommend looking elsewhere tonight as Scrivens ranks as our 23rd option on a deep, 12-game Tuesday slate. Our models project him to give up 2.69 goals on 27.60 attempts tonight against the Bolts, giving Scrivens just a 34.0 percent chance of earning the victory.
