Jannik Hansen lifts Vancouver with game-winning goal

Vancouver Canucks forward Jannik Hansen scored the winner in the Canucks' 2-1 win over the Arizona Coyotes on Wednesday.

What It Means:

It wasn't overly pretty as it was a double deflection pass which eventually made its way off Coyotes' player Oliver Ekman-Larsson and into the net. The goal was his 16th of the season and snapped a four-game goalless drought. He's already tied his career high in goals as he had reached 16 markers in the two seasons prior. Jake Virtanen scored the other goal for the Canucks.

We project Hansen to record six more goals with six more assists over the final 27 games. His 0.3 Relative Corsi For Percentage at Even Strength is well above his career average (-1.6) while his 48.4 Corsi For Percentage is tied with his clip from a year ago.
