Canadiens' Ben Scrivens makes 25 saves, beaten three times

Montreal Canadiens netminder Ben Scrivens -- who replaced Mike Condon in the Montreal net after the latter allowed six goals on 27 shots on Monday -- came out on the losing end of a 3-2 decision against the Colorado Avalanche on Wednesday night.

What It Means:

Scrivens wasn't bad, turning aside 25 of Colorado's 28 shots, but veteran Jarome Iginla beat him twice, including the game-winner with only 2:03 remaining in regulation.

Scrivens' record dropped to 3-5-0. His goals against average is an unimpressive 3.00, and his save percentage is .901. The Canadiens host the Philadelphia Flyers on Friday.
