Jason Pominville

Wild's Jason Pominville is out Thursday night

Minnesota Wild Jason Pominville (lower body) will miss Thursday's contest against the Edmonton Oilers.

What It Means:

Barring a last-minute change, it seems Pominville's iron man streak will come to an end at 231 games. The good news is, Pominville might not be sidelined for long as he'll probably accompany the Wild on their upcoming three-game road trip, which will kickoff with a game against the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday. In the meantime, Justin Fontaine is expected to play alongside Nino Niederreiter and Erik Haula.

Jason Pominville has 33 points (11 goals, 22 assists) in 67 games played this season and has been decent at driving possession. His Corsi For Percentage is 51.6, and his Relative Corsi For at Even Strength is 3.1. We project the winger to tally another nine points (three goals, six assists) over the remaining course of the season.
