Islanders' Mikhail Grabovski is back on the sidelines

New York Islanders center Mikhail Grabovski will miss Thursday's game versus the Nashville Predators due to an undisclosed injury.

What It Means:

If not clear if his current problem is related, but Grabovski just returned on Tuesday from an upper-body injury. While the Islanders' road trip will continue with a game on Saturday, Grabovski has been sent back home to be evaluated.

Grabovski has 25 points (nine goals, 16 assists) in 58 games played this season and has been poor at driving possession. His Corsi For Percentage is 49.2, and his Relative Corsi For at Even Strength is -2.2. We currently project Grabovski to tally another five points (two goals, three assists) over the remaining course of the season.
