Cizikas would have been a restricted free agent this summer after completing his two-year, $2 million deal. The 25-year-old forward is getting that sizable raise after scoring eight goals and 30 points in 80 contests in 2015-16. He added another three assists in 11 playoff games.

Cizikas was poor at driving possession, posting a Corsi For Percentage of 48.4 and a Relative Corsi For Percentage at Even Strength of -3.4, although both were improvements on his career totals.
