Nashville deals Shea Weber to Montreal for P.K. Subban
Defenseman Shea Weber has been traded from the Nashville Predators to the Montreal Canadiens in exchange for P.K. Subban.
This is a big one! In 78 games last year, Weber racked up 20 goals and 31 assists. He has served as Nashville's team captain for the past six seasons. Entering his age-31 season, Weber put up a 51.6 Corsi For Percentage and -2.2 Relative Corsi For Percentage at Even Strength in 2015-'16.
Subban, 27, played in 68 games last season, finishing with six goals and 45 assists. His 52.8 Corsi For Percentage was his best clip since the 2012-'13 season while his 0.9 Relative Corsi For Percentage at Even Strength was a career low.
