Boston signs Torey Krug to four-year, $21 million deal
Boston Bruins defenseman Torey Krug has signed a four-year, $21 million contract to remain in Boston.
What It Means:
Krug is coming off a career-best 44-point season last year. He tallied a career-low four goals, but he passes out 40 assists. He fired off a career-high 244 shots on goal, so his goal luck should turn around. He posted a 52.0 Corsi For Percentage and a career-best 4.0 Relative Corsi For Percentage at Even Strength.
Krug has 125 points in 241 career games. Still just 25, he should be a key contributor in Boston for the foreseeable future.
