4 FanDuel Premier League Studs to Target for Matchweek 13

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has a mouth-watering home matchup with Southampton. Who else is worth paying up for?

As is the case when playing any sport on FanDuel, it’s imperative to hit on high-priced studs, the players in which you’ve made the biggest investment. This is especially true with forwards in soccer. Not only are the top-end forwards expensive, they are the ones most likely to put the ball in the back of the net, and goals are often the difference between winning and losing in DFS.

This article will cover FanDuel's main slate, which begins Saturday at 10:00 a.m. EST and features seven matches.

Matchweek 13
Saturday, November 23rd
Wolverhampton at Bournemouth
Southampton at Arsenal
Leicester at Brighton
Liverpool at Crystal Palace
Norwich at Everton
Burnley at Watford
Chelsea at Manchester City

The EPL is back after another international break, and we get a seven-game main slate that features four big-six sides along with Leicester City, a team playing like a big-six side.

On a slate with Manchester City and Liverpool on it, it's Everton who are the biggest favorites, listed at -270, per Soccer odd. That's what a home matchup with Norwich will do for you. After the Toffees, Manchester City (-250), Liverpool (-240) and Arsenal (-210) are all big favorites, so there are a lot of ways to go on this slate if you're looking to load up on a favored side.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, FWD, Arsenal

FanDuel Salary: $22

With Arsenal (-210) a comfy home favorite versus Southampton, Auba offers a huge ceiling. He's been his usual goal-scoring self this season, netting eight goals in 12 matches, including four in six home outings.

The matchup is about as good as it gets. While this is skewed by a nine-goal drubbing, Southampton has given up a league-worst 29 goals through 12 matches. Aside from the infamous nine spot versus Leicester, the Saints have shipped four against Chelsea and three versus Bournemouth. They're not good defensively.

Per FanDuel Sportsbook, Aubameyang has the best anytime goal odds (-175), and he should be on penalties. He's well worth his salary, and you can stack him with Alexandre Lacazette ($19) if both start for the Gunners.

Raheem Sterling, MID, Manchester City

FanDuel Salary: $21

Unlike most weeks, this isn't a slate to load up on Man City -- at least on paper. They're at home versus Chelsea, one of the in-form sides of the league right now. Still, City are -250 favorites, so you want some exposure.

While Chelsea have been really good in their first campaign under Frank Lampard, they've been fragile at the back at times. Overall, they've conceded 17 times in 12 matches, with Norwich (two), Manchester United (four), Sheffield United (two), Wolves (two) and Burnley (two) scoring multiple goals against the Blues in EPL play. In their last UCL match, Chelsea gave up four goals to Ajax.

This City side is more than capable of a big day here, and they'll likely see less ownership than they usually do.

Sterling has been immense this season, tallying seven goals with one assist in 11 league matches. He's second in the league in chances created (22) and went into the Matchweek 12 clash at Liverpool with nine chances created over his past three outings.

Richarlison, MID, Everton

FanDuel Salary: $18

Everton have a ton of appeal on this slate as they host Norwich City, with the Toffees (-270) being Saturday's biggest favorite. It's not like Everton have been very good this season; this is all about the Canaries.

Norwich have surrendered 28 goals in 12 matches, including 14 over their past six. In six away matches this campaign, they've given up 14 goals. It hasn't really mattered who they've faced as Brighton (two), Aston Villa (five) and Watford (two) have rolled the Canaries lately.

Richarlison's lack of set-piece duty isn't ideal, but he's a top talent on the slate's biggest favorite. He's +100 to score in the match and has three goals and two assists on the year while pacing Everton in shots per match (2.7). His outlook would be enhanced if Cenk Tosun isn't able to play, which would likely result in Richarlison being deployed as a sole striker.

If you prefer a higher floor, look to Everton's Gylfi Sigurdsson ($16), whose stock is boosted by his set-piece and penalty role.

Lucas Digne, DEF, Everton

FanDuel Salary: $15

Sticking with the Toffees, this is a smash spot for Digne, who has been in fine form. He's averaging 19.0 FanDuel points per game on the season, and he's gone for 21.1, 27.7, 23.3 and 23.5 in his last four outings. He's been in single digits just twice all year.

Digne should get forward plenty versus Norwich, and he's a great stacking partner with any of Everton's attackers in the hope that you double-dip on the assist and goal on one of his crosses. Digne hasn't scored a goal this year, but his free-kick prowess keeps that on the table. Plus, three of the four most likely scores, per oddsmakers, involve an Everton clean sheet.

The Frenchman checks a ton of boxes, with the lone blemish being that he'll likely be pretty popular.
