Burnley vs. Fulham

Fulham to win +165

Fulham are currently stuck in the relegation zone with a brutal 3W-9D-11L record, but they are starting to play better as of late. Fulham defeated Everton over 2-0 over the weekend, and they have outshot their opponents in three of their last four matches, going 1-2-1 during that stretch.

Burnley are eight points ahead of Fulham in the league table, but Fulham are way ahead by FBRef’s expected goal difference -- -5.0 for the Cottagers to -13.7 for Burnley. Burnley are currently 18th in the league in expected goal difference, so they are somewhat fortunate to be out of the relegation zone at the moment.

Fulham are in desperate need of wins to stay up, and this is a huge match for them. They have every reason to push for all three points while Burnley -- despite their struggles -- aren't in as dire of a situation. Expected goal difference indicates Fulham may be the better team to begin with, and when you combine that with their desperation, it should give them a good shot to win this game.

Everton vs. Manchester City

Manchester City -1, +105 (no push)

Manchester City have clearly established themselves as the best team in the EPL this season, and they have won 11 consecutive league games, with eight of those victories coming by two or more goals. City certainly have enough firepower to dominate almost any opponent.

Everton are having a good season, sitting in seventh place in the table at 11-4-7, but they are only 1-1-2 in their last five games. Plus, their expected goal difference ranks 12th in the league, indicating they are overachieving a bit. They are also coming off a difficult 2-0 loss to Fulham over the weekend.

Manchester City have been dominating anyone and everyone, and while Everton is not bad, they are not yet at a level where they should be expected to compete with Manchester City. City should win this game easily, and they are certainly capable of running up the score.
