Norwich vs Brighton

Brighton to win +110

Brighton are off to a pretty hot start this season at 4W-2D-1L. With an expected goals difference (xGD) of -0.3, they may be slightly overachieving through their first seven games, but they are in sixth place and are clearly a mid-level EPL team at worst.

Meanwhile, Norwich are already starting to bury themselves in last place with a 0-1-6 record. They are last in the league in both goal difference (-14) and xGD (-8.2). Last week, Norwich earned their first point of the season against 18th-place Burnley, and they were still outshot 14-10 in that game.

Brighton are a good team, while Norwich have been horrendous this season. Any team that is at least around the middle of the league should always expect to get three points against Norwich given how they have played so far this season.

Watford vs Liverpool

Liverpool -1 (no push) -105

Liverpool are off to an amazing start this season and are undefeated through their first seven games at 4-3-0. Jurgen Klopp’s side are second in the league in xGD at +9.9, and they are second in the table, only one point behind first-place Chelsea.

Also, Liverpool tied Chelsea and Manchester City, so two of their draws came against the first and third place teams in the league. They have gone 4-1-0 against all other opponents, and all their wins have come by at least two goals.

Liverpool face Watford, who are in 15th place at 2-1-4. Watford are 19th in xGD at -4.6, and two of their four losses have come by two goals or more. Liverpool should win this game easily.

Aston Villa vs Wolves

Wolves to win +250

Aston Villa are just one point ahead of Wolves in the table so far this season, and even last season Villa only finished two spots ahead of Wolves. Wolves find themselves as a bit of a long shot to win this game according to the oddsmakers, but they could be poised to make an upset.

Wolves have won three of their last four league games, so they are in good form. Villa have lost three games already this season, and they are far from unbeatable. Wolves may not be the better team, but at +250, the odds are enticing.

This is an evenly matched game, and the odds are too slanted in Villa’s favor, so Wolves to win provides good betting value.
